Greetings! There is so much to look forward to in room 3 over the next few weeks. Read on for lots of helpful information.
Blanket Forts this FRIDAY
The class has earned another Class Dojo team reward. This time we've decided to build forts in the classroom to read in. For a visual of what this will be like, check out the blog of the teacher who I got the idea from here.
To help make this a success I could use your help! Please send in a clean flat sheet/beach blanket/throw and a flashlight (if possible) with your child on Friday. If you don't have access to these items, no worries I plan on bringing extra. I could also use the help of 1 or 2 parents for a quick and easy set up/clean up. So if you're available Friday between 1:15-2:00 and would like to join us, please let me know.
CEREAL BOXES NEEDED
Later this month the children will put some of their writing together into an anthology. As part of the celebration, we'll use a cereal box to hold their books in one place like a boxed set. If you could send in an empty cereal box that would be great! In consideration of the allergies in our classroom, please send a box from a cereal that doesn't have nuts. Thanks!
